Due to rapid business growth, the Creative Division is seeking an A&R Specialist.

This position is responsible for planning and executing single and album production strategies for global artists, with a primary focus on expansion into the Japanese market. Working closely with A&R professionals and producers from internal and external labels, the role requires a strong understanding of both Japanese and global music trends.
You will collaborate with lyricists, composers, arrangers, and music producers best suited to each artist’s concept, as well as external artists and musicians, to deliver high-quality music aligned with the creative vision.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside top music production specialists to create music that inspires and connects with Japanese fans and audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with A&R professionals and producers from internal and external labels

• Manage and oversee the production process of Japanese releases

• Conduct research and song selection for single and album planning aligned with artist concepts

• Analyze the music market and current music trends

• Select and negotiate with lyricists, composers, arrangers, and music producers

• Research and approach artists for collaboration opportunities

• Direct and manage on-site music production operations

• Ensure sound quality control during media appearances and live performances

• Plan and coordinate writing sessions

• Acquire and manage music tie-up opportunities

• Coordinate copyright and publishing-related matters
